"AI suggestions aren't appearing"

Solutions:

• Check your Codex (story context panel) — add more Canon (character traits, world facts)
• Refresh the page
• Ensure AI features are enabled in your subscription tier
• Try requesting a generation manually instead of waiting for real-time suggestions

"Generated text doesn't match my story"

Solutions:

• Lock more facts in Canon (established world rules, character traits)
• Add more Beats to guide AI on story structure
• Be more specific in your generation directive ("Tense confrontation" vs "write something")
• Check your Style settings — ensure tone preferences are clear

"AI keeps suggesting the same ideas"

Solutions:

• Try different story directions or beats
• Provide more explicit constraints in your directive
• Reject suggestions (AI learns what you don't want)
• Add contradictory examples to Canon to break the pattern

"Generation is slow or timing out"

Solutions:

• Check your internet connection
• Try a shorter generation length (Short vs Medium vs Long)
• Refresh the page and retry
• If problems persist, contact support

Performance & Technical

"Story takes a long time to load"

Solutions:

• Close other browser tabs to free up memory
• Clear browser cache (Cmd+Shift+Delete on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows)
• Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
• Update your browser to the latest version

"Edits aren't saving"

Solutions:

• Check internet connection
• Ensure you're not logged out (refresh if needed)
• Try saving manually (Cmd+S or Ctrl+S)

Solutions:

• Refresh the page (F5 or Cmd+R)
